Last updated: 23/07/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Audrey Noakes (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit audreynoakes.com, purchase a course or template, or subscribe to my email list (together, the “Site”).
I’m a solo business based in the UK, and I take a straightforward approach to data: I collect what I need to run the business and deliver what you’ve bought, and nothing more than that.
1. Who I Am
Audrey Noakes [International House, 64 Nile Street, London, N1 7SR, UK] Email: audrey@audreynoakes.com
I am the “data controller” for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What Data I Collect
Depending on how you interact with the Site, I may collect:
- Contact details: name, email address, billing address (collected at checkout via WooCommerce or ThriveCart)
- Payment information: processed by our payment providers (WooCommerce payment gateway / ThriveCart). I do not store full card details myself.
- Course access data: account details and login activity via learn.audreynoakes.com, to give you access to purchased courses
- Email marketing data: email address, name, and engagement data (opens, clicks) if you subscribe to my mailing list via MailerLite
- Analytics data: pages visited, time on site, device/browser type, and approximate location, collected via Google Analytics
- Any information you provide directly: e.g. via a contact form or email correspondence
3. How I Use Your Data
I use your data to:
- Process orders and deliver purchased courses/templates
- Provide access to and support for learn.audreynoakes.com
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, receipts, course access details)

- Understand how visitors use the Site, so I can improve it (via Google Analytics)
- Comply with legal and tax obligations
4. Legal Basis for Processing (UK/EU Visitors)
Where UK/EU data protection law applies, I rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to process your order and deliver what you’ve purchased
- Consent: for marketing emails and non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising)
- Legitimate interests: for basic site analytics and fraud prevention
- Legal obligation: for tax and accounting records
5. Cookies & Tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including:
- Essential cookies: required for checkout and site functionality
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics, to understand site usage
You can control non-essential cookies via the cookie consent banner on the Site, or through your browser settings. See our separate [Cookies Policy] for more detail.
6. Third Parties I Share Data With
I use the following third-party services to run the business. Each processes data under their own privacy policies:
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| WooCommerce / Hostinger / Kinsta | Store hosting, order processing |
| ThriveCart | Course checkout |
| learn.audreynoakes.com | Course delivery/hosting |
| MailerLite | Email marketing |
| Google Analytics | Site analytics |
I don’t sell your personal data to third parties.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of the third-party services above (e.g. Google) may process data outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are used to protect your data.
8. How Long I Keep Your Data
- Order and payment records: kept for as long as required by UK tax law (typically 6 years)
- Course account data: kept for as long as your account is active
- Marketing email data: kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings
9. Your Rights
If you’re in the UK/EU
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from emails)
